Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Description:

Move completed packages using pallet jack, material handling equipment Responsible for the packaging, inspection, and shipment of a variety of small and large manufactured hardware products Preparing shipments for safe transit, and verifying accuracy of packed orders against customer specifications and production work orders by weighing, measuring, inspecting, and labeling the items Perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials prepared for shipment Pick, pack, wrap, foam, and seal product to ensure quality during transit

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count parts and pieces of varying size and shape Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools and basic measurement devices Knowledge of the manufacturing trade
