A fast-paced manufacturing facility in East Butler is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Forklift Operator for the first shift. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This role offers 48 hours of work each week, including 8 hours of overtime compensated at time and a half, with an hourly rate of $17.00. This is a temp-to-hire role with a company that is currently stable and expanding. Applicants must be dependable, diligent, and prepared to complete both a drug screen and background check. Please note that steel-toed boots are mandatory. Core Duties Handle the loading, packing, and unloading of items from the production line. Organize products onto pallets while adhering to specific packing guidelines. Operate a forklift to help maintain a safe and efficient storage and staging area for all products. Support the integrity of our goods by strictly following the established quality control plan. Collaborate with colleagues each day to help the team reach its collective production targets. Maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace through consistent daily housekeeping efforts. Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and kept in good working order. Track and document daily metrics, including finished product totals, scrap rates, and quality check weights. Qualifications Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds. Physical ability to remain standing, bending, and lifting throughout the entire shift. Proven experience operating a forklift. Previous work history in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is beneficial, though not mandatory. Successful completion of a background screening.
