Support other quality initiatives Education Requirements High school diploma or GED. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial. Experience Requirements 2+ years of stand up high reach forklift experience General manufacturing or warehouse experience Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, QMS tools). Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
