Our employees are proud to be a part of our history and commitment to quality. We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator.
THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION
from 3:30pm-1:00am Monday through Friday. Must be able to work Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Load and unload concrete products from trucks using a forklift Pick, package, and stage orders for shipment Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy Maintain accurate inventory and storage locations Perform daily forklift inspections and basic preventative maintenance Assist with general plant operations and other assigned duties Work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment Adhere to all company policies, work rules, and operating procedures Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures Perform the physical requirements of the job, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED Previous forklift operating experience preferred, but training provided Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime as needed Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
