The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment—including stand-up, sit-down, and deep-reach forklifts, as well as electric pallet jacks—to move, locate, stack, and count products within the warehouse. This role supports the overall flow of goods in and out of the facility and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and inventory standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and warehouse management systems (WMS). Essential Functions Safely operate stand-up, sit-down, and deep-reach forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Pick, stage, load, and unload orders accurately and efficiently. Perform handheld scanning for order accuracy and inventory tracking. Follow FIFO procedures and maintain proper stock rotation. Complete and submit pick tickets and required documentation accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas. Work effectively in cold storage/freezer environments when required. Communicate effectively with management and co-workers. Follow all warehouse safety and operational policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Education / Skills
/ Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Proven experience operating stand-up and deep-reach forklifts. Knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving and shipping. Familiarity with WMS and scanning systems preferred. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages). Must be medically qualified to operate warehouse equipment. Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability required. Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, climb, and reach overhead frequently. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to work in cold or freezer environments as required. Must be able to work in elevated areas and perform physical tasks as needed. 1st

Shift:
5:00 p.m.•until finished (typically 2•3 a.m.) Overtime and occasional Saturday work required.
