Overview:
We are seeking several skilled Forklift Operators to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for working cooperatively with all departments and co-workers while performing the essential functions of the job. This is a vital role in our manufacturing and/or distribution operations and requires strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate 18,000-20,000 lb sitdown diesel-powered Forklift
  • Safely load and unload materials from process equipment, trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Transport materials to designated areas within manufacturing or distribution operations
  • Stack and organize products in the appropriate storage locations
  • Pull customer orders and load flatbed trailers per department requirements
  • Perform routine pre-startup maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions
  • Follow all safety protocols and DOSH regulations while operating as a Forklift Operator
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
  • Complete the Exterior Wood forklift certification process
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and follow production lists
  • Regular attendance, working all scheduled assigned days, hours and shift/s
  • Ability to read and communicate in basic
