Forklift Driver
Summary
Dock workers operate forklifts and walk behind lifts in a safe and controlled manner. They also prepare pallets of meat for storage or shipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential duties for this job include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
Load out supplies to Abbyland Foods & Abbyland Pork Plant
Load trailers—ensuring that the right product is on the right trailer
Wrap pallets of product before shipment
Unload supplies purchased from vendors
Put all supplies away in dry storage
Keep dry storage clean & organized
Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. No prior experience or training is required.
