The Assistant Director manages a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects, develops and executes annual fundraising campaigns, and builds meaningful relationships that inspire donor engagement and long-term support. This position serves as a lead fundraiser for donors contributing $1,000 or more and plays a key role in expanding the University's culture of philanthropy. Responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects. Developing and executing annual campaigns through direct mail, email, and digital channels. Coordinating Days of Giving, scholarship stewardship, and special fundraising initiatives. Tracking fundraising results and recommending strategic improvements. Planning the annual Athletic Golf Outing and securing sponsorships. Building relationships with alumni, donors, faculty, staff, and community partners.

Qualifications:

Three or more years of fundraising experience, preferably in higher education. Proven ability to cultivate donor relationships and secure philanthropic gifts. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Experience using donor databases and fundraising technology. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
