Assistant Director of Annual Giving
Mount Mercy University is seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Assistant Director of Annual Giving to lead annual giving initiatives and cultivate philanthropic support for the University's mission and strategic priorities.
The Assistant Director manages a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects, develops and executes annual fundraising campaigns, and builds meaningful relationships that inspire donor engagement and long-term support. This position serves as a lead fundraiser for donors contributing $1,000 or more and plays a key role in expanding the University's culture of philanthropy.
Responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects.
Developing and executing annual campaigns through direct mail, email, and digital channels.
Coordinating Days of Giving, scholarship stewardship, and special fundraising initiatives.
Tracking fundraising results and recommending strategic improvements.
Planning the annual Athletic Golf Outing and securing sponsorships.
Building relationships with alumni, donors, faculty, staff, and community partners.
