The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Foster Care Hub Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for working throughout the Service Delivery Area to recruit and retain foster/resource homes. Responsibilities include increasing community interest in establishing, expanding, and improving access to foster care in Ohio's Appalachian region. This is a remote position that will be based out of our Dover, Ohio office.
Key Responsibilities include:
Working alongside public/private agencies to recruit and retain foster/resource homes.
Attending meetings, conferences, and professional development sessions applicable to this position and disseminate acquired information to appropriate individuals.
Maintaining databases and anecdotal records to inform reporting and outreach efforts; Assisting with coordination of regional data collection, reporting, and analysis within the district offices.
Representing COAD among other agencies, departments, organizations; participate in regional, state, and national workgroups and committees. Presenting a positive public image of COAD.
Being an ambassador for COAD and contribute metrics, stories, and other content to marketing and brand development.
Bringing new ideas, innovative solutions, and unlikely partners to the table.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field is required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Experience with Ohio's foster care system and experience in community outreach and community presentations is preferred.
Current Valid Driver's License, dependable transportation and vehicle insurance are required in order to meet the requirements of this position.
Fluency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as all applications specific to the Division (examples: publishing, online training software, databases, etc.
).

Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
