Granite Peak Management — Alpine Meadows, CA General Manager -Rental Operations About the Role Granite Peak Management (GPM) is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations across our growing vacation rental portfolio, including Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals , Tahoe Vacation Rentals , and future brands. This leadership role oversees all aspects of our rental programs — from financial performance and guest experience to team leadership and owner acquisition, relations and retention. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality/vacation rental professional with a strong operational background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences while driving growth and profitability. What You'll Do Oversee daily operations across multiple vacation rental brands in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee region, including short, mid and long term rentals. Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on service excellence and accountability. Manage budgets, financial reporting, and key performance metrics Foster strong relationships with homeowners through transparent communication and reliable service. Ensure brand consistency and compliance with all property standards, safety, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to drive bookings, optimize pricing, and expand brand reach. Identifies and sources new clients/accounts and successfully integrates new properties and markets. Is a key member of the Granite Peak Management Manager on Duty Program. What We're Looking For 5+ years of hospitality or vacation rental management experience, with multi-property oversight preferred. Strong financial and operational management skills. Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and mentor diverse teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with property management systems and OTA platforms. Flexible schedule with availability for weekend and holiday coverage. North Lake Tahoe/Truckee area resident.
