• 82,000 + Performance Bonus KidStrong is looking for an energetic, driven, and people-focused General Manager to lead the launch and operations of our new Richmond center.

KidStrong helps kids ages 15 months to 11 years become stronger, more confident, and more capable through science-based physical development, character development, and coaching. This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk management role. We're looking for a leader who loves building teams, growing a business, connecting with families, and creating an amazing experience for kids. Compensation & Growth Tier 1

• Launch & Pre-Opening:

  $75,000/year + Performance Bonus You'll help build the center from the ground up—recruiting and training your team, generating community awareness, following up with leads, driving presales, and preparing for a successful grand opening. Tier 2

•

Operating General Manager:

$82,000/year + Performance Bonus Upon the center's official opening, compensation automatically moves to Tier 2 as you assume full responsibility for center operations, membership growth, team performance, and customer experience.

Plus Performance Bonus:

Opportunity to earn up to approximately $18,000 annually based on center performance.

High-performing total compensation:

Know your KPIs, set membership goals, follow up with leads, drive enrollments, and build a strong member community. Lead the

Recruit, onboard, train, motivate, and develop an amazing team of coaches and leaders. Create an

Build relationships with parents, celebrate kids' progress, resolve concerns, and make families excited to come back.

Own Center Operations:

Maintain a clean, organized, high-energy center while managing schedules, staffing, labor, and day-to-day operations. Build the

KidStrong Community:

Develop local partnerships and participate in community events to make KidStrong a recognized name in Richmond. Coach & Lead from the

Floor:

Complete KidStrong Coach Certification and actively coach approximately 3-5 classes per week to stay connected with kids, families, and your team.

Drive Accountability:

Track performance, delegate effectively, uphold KidStrong standards, and make sure the team consistently delivers an outstanding experience. Who We're Looking For You don't need to come from KidStrong—we're looking for a leader with the right energy and mindset . You'll be a great fit if you have experience in management, sales, fitness, youth sports, children's enrichment, hospitality, retail, or another high-energy customer-focused business . We're especially looking for someone who: Loves working with kids and families Leads from the front and holds high standards Is comfortable with sales, goals, KPIs, and accountability Can recruit, train, motivate, and develop a team Communicates professionally with parents and employees Is energetic, organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Is comfortable using technology, including Google/Microsoft tools and social media Is CPR certified or willing to become certified Can successfully complete KidStrong HQ Coach Certification Schedule This is a full-time leadership position working weekdays and weekend shift .
