The General Manager will also help recruit and onboard the Production Manager and then transition to leading production through that role. Once the Production Manager is in place, the General Manager will oversee both department managers and focus on overall business performance and growth.

Production Oversight (Until Production Manager Is Hired) Directly manage the production department, including crew scheduling, job assignments, and capacity planning. Oversee job execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. Conduct regular jobsite visits, inspections, and project closeouts. Supervise crew leads, crews, and subcontractors. Coordinate materials ordering, deliveries, equipment, and supplier relationships. Enforce jobsite safety practices and compliance requirements. Work with the Sales Manager to keep sold jobs, timelines, and customer commitments aligned. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting the Production Manager, and lead the transition of production responsibilities once the position is filled. Operations Management Manage the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the business. Coordinate between the sales and production departments to keep job scheduling, crew capacity, and customer commitments aligned. Monitor job costing, margins, expenses, and overall business performance against targets. Identify and lead process improvements to increase efficiency and support company growth. Resolve operational issues and cross-department conflicts as they arise. Leadership & Team Management Oversee and support the Sales Manager and, once hired, the Production Manager in running their departments and meeting goals. Run regular leadership meetings to review performance, sales activity, production output, and overall results. Support hiring, training, and development of department managers and staff. Help maintain a strong, positive company culture across the organization. Provide coaching and guidance to department managers to support their growth as leaders. Financial & Business Oversight Work with ownership on budgeting, financial planning, and cost control. Track key performance indicators across sales and production and report results to ownership. Support pricing strategy and profitability analysis in coordination with the Sales Manager. Strategic Support Work closely with ownership on business priorities, growth initiatives, and long-term planning. Bring forward recommendations on process, staffing, or systems improvements based on day-to-day operational insight. Take ownership of select improvement projects (e.g., systems upgrades, pricing changes, hiring initiatives) and see them through to completion.

Qualifications:
