Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for growth We are a busy, locally owned auto body shop in Seymour, CT looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated person to join our team in an office/admin position . This position is more than just answering phones. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning the business, taking on additional responsibilities, and potentially growing into a management position running the shop. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally Schedule appointments and manage the shop calendar Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Handle general office and administrative duties Communicate with customers, insurance companies, and vendors Assist with estimates, invoices, paperwork, and job files Follow up with customers regarding vehicle repairs and status updates Help keep repair orders and office records organized Learn the day-to-day operations of an auto body shop Take on additional responsibilities as you become more experienced Eventually assist with overseeing shop operations and helping manage the business What We're Looking For Excellent communication and customer service skills Organized and able to multitask Reliable, responsible, and punctual Comfortable answering phones and speaking with customers Computer skills and willingness to learn new software Ability to work independently and take initiative Professional and friendly attitude Automotive or auto body experience is a plus, but not required Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with the company Growth Opportunity The right person can grow into a management position with significantly more responsibility , including helping oversee the office, customers, workflow, and day-to-day operations of the shop.
