Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager F&I (Finance & Insurance) to join our automotive dealership team. As a Business Manager F&I, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the financing process, upselling insurance products, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and dealership policies. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing transparent, informative, and friendly communication throughout the financing process. Present and explain various automotive financing options, including loan structuring, lease agreements, and credit analysis to ensure clients make informed decisions. Upsell insurance products such as extended warranties, gap insurance, and other F&I products to maximize dealership profitability while meeting customer needs. Process loan applications efficiently using financial software systems like CDK or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy in all transaction details. Ensure all transactions comply with federal and state regulations including TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Title processing standards, and automotive sales industry regulations. Negotiate deal terms with clients while maintaining compliance with loan regulations and dealership policies; resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. Conduct thorough credit analysis and review client documentation to determine eligibility for financing options. Collaborate closely with sales teams to facilitate seamless deal closing processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of all transactions, client communications, and compliance documentation to support audit readiness. Stay updated on industry knowledge of financial regulations, automotive sales laws, and evolving best practices in financial regulatory compliance. Experience Proven experience as a Loan Officer or Business Manager within the automotive or financial services industry. Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) tools and financial software such as CDK or equivalent platforms. Strong background in automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, title processing standards, and compliance requirements. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell products effectively without compromising integrity or customer trust. Solid understanding of credit analysis, deal structuring, and transaction processing within a dealership environment. Familiarity with automotive financing procedures, contracts, and legal documentation related to loans and insurance products. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately (including 10-key typing) for deal structuring and credit assessments. Exceptional client communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting.
