The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial services risk oversight and is comfortable engaging with regulatory bodies while helping the organization maintain a sound and effective risk framework.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the review and enhancement of credit risk policies to ensure they align with business objectives, regulatory expectations, and prudent lending practices.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on credit exposure, portfolio trends, and emerging risk concerns across lending activities.
  • Evaluate existing credit risk controls and recommend improvements that reinforce governance, accountability, and consistent decision-making.
  • Partner with compliance and operational teams to support due diligence efforts and strengthen alignment between credit risk and AML-related considerations.
  • Oversee the development and validation of credit risk methodologies and models used to assess portfolio performance and potential loss exposure.
  • Prepare clear risk insights, reporting materials, and recommendations for executive leadership and relevant oversight committees.
