In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for carrying out the organization's mission and the overall direction and administration of Prospect Meadows Sports Complex operations and activities. The GM is the organization's representative to the community and public and private partners. This full-time position is classified as exempt, and requires some evening, weekend, and holiday work and a flexible work schedule. Prospect Meadows Prospect Meadows is an 8-field baseball/softball complex and has a Miracle Field. Between March - October, the facility hosts numerous regional and national tournaments, local play, Miracle League and community events. Each year, the complex hosts 1,000+ teams and 140,000 visitors. Responsibilities Planning, organizing, directing and administration of all Prospect Meadows Sports Complex operations. Serve as liaison to media, civic groups, public and private partners. Represents Prospect Meadows in community collaborations, partnerships and functions. Ensures development and implementation of all policies and procedures. Develops and implements, in coordination with Board of Directors, strategic visions and plans. Oversees scheduling of tournaments and events to ensure maximum utilization of the facility. Assures excellent customer service is delivered during all events. Establishes advertising sales plans and achieves the organization's sales goals. Works with fundraising committee to develop and execute fundraising programs to ensure adequate funding for operation and capital needs. Prepares, monitors and achieves annual financial budget. Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure good communication and performance. Supervises Assistant General Manager(s), Sports Turf Manager, administration positions and other staff and interns as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors. Qualifications 5+ years' experience overseeing a similar sports complex administration and operations. Bachelor's Degree in related field. Demonstrates supervisory/management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knowledge of community resources and ability to develop community partnerships. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
