POSITION SUMMARY

The General Manager will lead and hold employees accountable. Coordinate production workflow. Maintain quality and customer service standards. Creating a productive, organized and a results-driven workplace. They will help meet the company's financial and operational goals and improve the systems and processes used throughout the company.

OBJECTIVES

• Hires and trains staff.
• Supervises clerks working with tariff classifications or billing.
• Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of employees.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Oversees and coordinates a safe and organized facility.
• Achieves financial targets set by the company.
• Ensures that customer difficulties or problems are investigated and resolved and maintains customer satisfaction and retention.
• Negotiates and secures contracts with providers and customers.
• Directs all maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment or vehicles.
• Implements safety audits and trains staff members on safety issues.
• Builds a self-sustained business by creating the people, systems, processes and accountability to operate a successful business without the owners stepping in.
• Maintains knowledge of regulations related to workplace safety, OSHA requirements, environmental and air quality standards, hazardous materials, chemical handling, waste disposal, fire safety and required permits.
• In collaboration with other managers, develops and implements policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for the operations.
• Ensures compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, environmental policies, and government regulations.
• Reviews and analyzes expenditures and other financial information; uses results to develop and implement plans, policies, and budgets. Responsible for the P&L and Balance sheet and to execute the business plan and report all results to ownership.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 10

+ years in the powder coating or metal fab industry 5 + years of experience as a manager or foreman over a powder coating or metal fabrication company 2 + years of college

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of standing and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Perform work with OSHA required PPE; Including
