Job Description The Executive Vice President (EVP) is responsible for assisting the Operating Company President in leading and driving execution of the Operating Company's (OpCo's) strategies and initiatives across assigned functional areas that may include sales, procurement, operations, finance and/or HR. Accountable for achieving established profit, sales and expense management metrics in assigned functional areas. Ensures all company policies and practices are enforced and followed to ensure compliance with organizational standards. This role is considered an executive development role in preparation of attaining an Operating Company President position. Develops and implements operating policies and procedures across assigned functional areas of the Operating Company. Conducts and reviews feasibility of new or revised systems, procedures and processes for continuous improvement. While the EVP may be assigned direct responsibility for specific functional areas, the EVP is expected to gain expertise and understanding of all functional areas and their related standard operating processes. Supervisory responsibilities include performance management, talent development, talent acquisition and succession planning. Demonstrates leadership skills that promote and provide for a respectful, productive work environment and culture of accountability. Lead and manage the planning and budgeting process for assigned functional areas in order to meet business objectives by establishing current and long range goals.
