Location:

12767 Industrial Dr, Granger, IN 46530 (full-time, on-site) The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Owner/President, you'll lead our engineering, CNC machining, gage and fixture, and robotics/automation teams. This is a leadership role in the truest sense: you'll build and run the team, set the schedule, make the calls when priorities collide, and be accountable for results. We want someone who leads from the floor, knows where every job stands, and handles a heavy workload with confidence. Veterans Welcome We value the leadership, discipline, and technical skills that military service builds. If you've led teams in maintenance, logistics, operations, or manufacturing during your service, that experience counts toward the qualifications we're looking for. What You'll Lead Direct management of supervisors, leads, and design engineering, with full authority to hire, terminate, evaluate performance, and set raises. Building and owning the production schedule, including overtime and shift staffing decisions. Setting priorities when jobs compete for people, machines, or time, and keeping projects moving to completion. Developing talent through training and apprenticeship programs that build the skills of our workforce. Owning quality and ISO compliance, including CMM inspection and our ISO 9001 and

ISO/IEC 17025

Recommending equipment and automation investments to ownership. Setting and reporting key performance metrics to the Owner/President. How Success Is Measured Jobs completed within their labor-hour targets. Measurable improvement in on-time delivery. Reduced scrap and rework. What We're Looking For The ability to lead engineering and production teams together and get them working as one. A drive to improve labor efficiency, delivery, and quality on a production floor. The ability to juggle many custom projects at once and stay steady under pressure. A leadership style that earns respect: direct, fair, visible, and accountable. Preferred, But Not Required 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including success running a machine shop or custom manufacturing operation. Strong working knowledge of CNC machining, automation and robotics, fixture and gage design and build, and CMM inspection. An engineering or manufacturing degree. Experience with automotive tooling, ISO environments, or ERP systems. Physical Requirements and Work Environment This role splits time between the office and the production floor. The essential functions include, with or without reasonable accommodation: walking and standing on the shop floor for extended periods; working around operating machinery, noise, and typical manufacturing conditions; wearing required personal protective equipment; and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Compensation $95,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience. This role offers direct access to ownership and real authority to lead your team. Work Authorization Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. A U.S. person includes a U.S. citizen, a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or an individual granted asylum or refugee status. CP Industries participates in E-Verify.
