Job Description

Truck Center Companies is a family owned, Freightliner dealer group. We have 17 locations across Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and Kansas with over 1100 employees! We are currently looking for a General Manager for our Liberal, KS dealership.

Basic Qualifications:

Professional personal appearance. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to lead an efficient and profitable dealership by meeting or exceeding customers' expectations.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Plan the dealership's operations for the coming year and review the plan with the President. Obtain, review and recommend improvements for each department manager's monthly forecasts and plans. Ensure that every department operates harmoniously and profitably. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the factory and lending institutions. Control expenses in each department, including staff expense reports. Responsible for monthly financial statements, knowledge of each aspect and percentages and how they affect the overall organization. Conduct a weekly meeting with dealership managers. Head all dealership personnel functions to include: interviewing, hiring, measuring and evaluating performance, recognizing achievements and termination. Provide enthusiastic leadership to shape employees' attitudes and build morale. Review and approve the compensation plans for all employees.
