Senior Director of Advancement Full-Time $93,600- 104,000 / year Homeworthy is searching for a Senior Director of Advancement to join our senior management team! The Senior Director of Advancement provides leadership and oversight of a team of professionals who are passionate about the mission of Homeworthy and excited to contribute to work that advances the idea that all humans are worthy of a home, and helps to cultivate pathways to safe and affordable housing. The Senior Director of Advancement will play a critical role in agency sustainability and growth through establishing and nurturing relationships that steadily increase support for the Homeworthy mission. Overall this position is responsible for managing the advancement department, establishing effective fundraising strategies, overseeing public relations/community relations and sharing agency administrative oversight with the senior management staff. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Advancement is an integral member of the Homeworthy senior management team, responsible for supporting the design and implementation of philanthropic strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors, oversight of fundraising events, and solicitation of public and private grant opportunities. The Senior Director of Advancement works closely with the Executive Director on all matters related to fundraising, communications, advocacy, and organizational advancement, participating on the BOD Advancement Committee, and representing Homeworthy at public events . The Senior Director of Advancement will lead community engagement efforts, educating, advocating, and building partnerships to advance the mission of Homeworthy.
Supervises:
Members of the Advancement Department including the Development Systems Manager, Donations and Digital Communications Coordinator, Thrift Store Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator.
Education:
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, and demonstrated experience, success, and progressive responsibility in management and supervision with a minimum of three to five years experience. Capital campaign experience, and experience with public relations in a non-profit is a plus. This position will pay $93,600-$104,000 a year based on experience.
