We're looking for someone who understands the building materials or construction industry, has strong leadership potential, and is excited about the opportunity to take ownership of a growing business. Previous General Manager experience is not required. We encourage experienced building materials salespeople, lumberyard professionals, and individuals with strong construction backgrounds to apply. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the store and lumberyard. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners. Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities. Manage inventory, purchasing, merchandising, and overall store organization. Monitor sales performance, expenses, and profitability. Ensure customers receive knowledgeable service, accurate quotes, and timely follow-up. Maintain a productive, organized, and positive work environment. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, or residential construction. Experience in building materials sales, lumberyard operations, construction management, or a related field. Natural leadership ability and a willingness to take responsibility. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build lasting relationships. Motivation to grow sales, improve operations, and lead a successful team. Management experience is a plus, but industry knowledge, work ethic, and leadership ability are what matter most.
