Job Description

Overview Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead logistics, warehouse, transportation, and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing budgets, leading teams, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective movement of products while supporting company growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory, and distribution operations. Develop and execute logistics strategies to improve efficiency, service levels, and profitability. Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Manage vendor, carrier, and supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and trade requirements. Oversee budgets, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and operations teams of 50+ employees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Qualifications Relative Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of operations or logistics management experience. Strong background in supply chain, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. Proven leadership experience in a multi-shift warehouse or distribution environment. Experience with WMS systems, KPI management, and process improvement. Strong analytical, communication, and team-building skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work throughout a warehouse environment. Minimal travel required (quarterly). Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
