Reporting to the Ownership, the GM is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, strategic growth, safety, customer satisfaction, and leadership of a predominantly Amish production workforce. Primary Areas of Responsibility

• Lead manufacturing, brokerage, transportation, sales, purchasing, maintenance, safety, finance, and administration.
• Deliver annual revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital objectives.
• Develop and mentor department leaders while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build strategic customer, supplier, lender, and community relationships. Manufacturing Leadership
• Direct all pallet manufacturing, recycled pallet operations, inventory, quality, maintenance, scheduling, and production planning.
• Improve labor productivity, reduce waste, maximize equipment utilization, and drive Lean initiatives. Brokerage Leadership
• Lead the $5.4M brokerage division by expanding supplier relationships, negotiating purchasing agreements, optimizing sourcing, and improving gross margins.
• Coordinate internal production with third-party sourcing to maximize customer service and profitability. Transportation Leadership
• Provide executive oversight of the $1.9M trucking operation, including fleet utilization, dispatch, DOT compliance, maintenance, fuel management, routing, and outside freight opportunities. Leadership of an Amish Workforce
• Lead with humility, consistency, fairness, and integrity.
• Develop respectful relationships with Amish employees and community leaders.
• Maintain clear face-to-face communication and predictable work schedules were practical.
• Coordinate transportation logistics and develop supervisors who understand Amish culture and values. Financial Accountability

Maintenance Support Pay:

$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
