Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our dynamic retail team at Ripple Resale. In this pivotal role, you will support store operations, lead sales initiatives, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, manage daily store functions, and contribute to a positive shopping environment. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling. Supervise and motivate sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to foster a knowledgeable and engaged team. Manage merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product presentation and inventory levels. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, payroll processing, and inventory management tasks. Support management in budgeting, sales management, and operational planning to meet store goals. Experience Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within the retail industry Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and team management. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, bookkeeping, and basic math skills necessary for daily operations. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills in a multilingual or bilingual environment preferred. Knowledge of retail product lines including wireless sales or grocery items is advantageous. Prior experience in managing retail sales teams, supervising shifts, and operational management is highly desirable.
