KidStrong is looking for an energetic, motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) who is passionate about working with children and ready to grow as a leader. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines team management, sales, customer service, center operations, and coaching. Our AGM works closely with the General Manager to grow the center, develop the coaching team, create an exceptional experience for families, and achieve membership and operational goals. This is not a traditional desk-based management position. The AGM leads from the front and is expected to get on the floor and coach approximately 10-15 KidStrong classes per week for children from walking age through 11 years old. Previous professional experience working with children is required. Work Schedule This is a full-time position with the following regular schedule:

•4:00 PM Candidates should be able to consistently work this schedule. Hours may vary based on business needs. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Partner with the General Manager to create a positive, energetic, and high-performing center environment. Help lead, motivate, and develop the KidStrong coaching team. Provide coaches with ongoing feedback, recognition, evaluations, and support. Assist with training and onboarding new coaches. Lead productive individual and team meetings. Ensure coaches understand and consistently follow KidStrong policies, procedures, programming, and expectations. Lead by example and step in wherever needed to support the team and center. Maintain open and effective communication regarding center needs, members, trials, staffing, and operations. Coaching & Member Experience Coach approximately 10-15 KidStrong classes per week. Enthusiastically deliver pre-designed KidStrong programming to groups of up to approximately 15 children. Work directly with children from walking age through 11 years old. Create a fun, safe, encouraging, and high-energy environment for children and families. Engage and motivate students throughout each class. Build positive relationships with parents and members. Deliver a consistently high level of customer service and help resolve member concerns professionally. Sales & Center Growth Partner with the General Manager to achieve membership, sales, and operational goals. Support lead generation, trial scheduling, membership sales, and follow-up activities. Build relationships with prospective and current families. Confidently communicate the value of KidStrong programs and memberships. Assist with converting trials and inquiries into memberships. Understand center performance metrics and take an active role in achieving goals. Bring a positive, goal-oriented mindset and a "Win the Day" approach to the center. Center Operations Assist with the day-to-day operation of the KidStrong center. Support class scheduling and optimization to help maximize class participation. Ensure front-desk procedures are followed, including member check-in, telephone inquiries, guest registration, customer-care calls, account requests, and other member needs. Ensure KidStrong corporate policies, systems, and business practices are consistently followed. Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and operationally sound facility. Take a hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" approach to center needs. Assist with moving fitness equipment and updating the KidStrong rig based on monthly curriculum needs.
What We're Looking For Required:
Previous professional experience working directly with children. Comfortable actively coaching and engaging children in a group environment. Ability to work a regular Sunday-Thursday schedule . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to supervise, lead, multitask, and address member and staff concerns. Strong work ethic, dependability, integrity, and professional demeanor. Willingness to be actively involved in all areas of the center rather than managing solely from an office.
Preferred:
Previous leadership, supervisory, management, or team-lead experience. Experience in sales, membership-based businesses, fitness, youth programs, education, recreation, or customer service. Experience coaching, teaching, mentoring, or leading children. Experience working toward sales or performance goals. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Who Will Succeed in This Role?
