Job Description

Grants Coordinator The City of Champaign Township works to provide essential services with compassion to the community through programs in a fair, equitable and responsive manner. We are seeking a dependable, efficient & experienced individual to assume the position of Grants Coordinator. Position Summary The Grants Coordinator provides comprehensive financial grant coordination for the Township, supporting financial workflows, preparing draft materials, and ensuring documentation accuracy across all Township grants. Grant Compliance & Reporting In coordination with program directors, draft and track grant budgets Complete and submit monthly/quarterly and financial reports Monitor, process invoices and track grant expenditures Maintain GATA eligibility and prepare GATA materials with supporting documents Assist with fiscal requirements by tracking deadlines, organizing files, and preparing draft reports for Supervisor review Prepare reimbursement packets Monitor grant deadlines and reporting schedules In coordination with Supervisor, prepare closeout reports Financial Operational Support Ensure financial records meet state retention compliance Monitor expenditures for accuracy and completeness Verify AP accuracy, fund availability and grant coding Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and update and document changes to workflows. Other Duties as Assigned Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support Township operations, consistent with the scope and classification of this position. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, accounting or related field Two years' experience with financial grant management - state and federal, preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tracking systems Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to accuracy and deadlines Schedule & Compensation 30
Hours:
Monday-Friday | 8:30am-2:00pm Starting at $27-$29/hr This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime compensation.
