About the Role As a Grant Reporting Manager, you will serve as a resource to schools by coordinating, preparing, reviewing, and submitting grant reimbursement requests. You will help ensure requests are accurate, complete, and compliant with grant requirements, while maintaining organized digital records and supporting schools throughout the reporting and closeout process. - Manage the preparation, review, and timely submission of reimbursement requests for state and federal grants.
- Review reimbursement requests and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable grant requirements.
- Work with the finance and accounting team and school staff to collect required information and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Track reporting deadlines and outstanding information, and follow up with responsible departments and schools to ensure timely submissions. School Support and Collaboration
- Build productive relationships with school staff and the finance and accounting team to support efficient grant reporting.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to schools regarding reporting requirements and documentation standards.
- Communicate reporting needs, outstanding items, and potential delays to supervisors and relevant school staff. Documentation and Grant Closeout
- Maintain organized digital records supporting grant expenditures and reimbursement requests.
- Support grant closeout activities and ensure final reports and required documentation are completed and retained appropriately.
- Support strong internal controls, compliance with grant requirements, and ongoing improvements to reporting and documentation processes. QualificationsRequired
- Experience administering or reporting on federal and state education grants, including familiarity with grant budgeting, reporting, and reimbursement processes.
- Ability to interpret grant agreements, regulations, agency guidance, budgets, and reporting instructions.
- Strong analytical, financial reconciliation, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage numerous grants and concurrent deadlines accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with finance and school staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity, accounting, grant management, and reporting systems.
- Ability to independently prioritize responsibilities while maintaining effective communication with supervisors and stakeholders.
