Job Description

SUMMARY This is a Part-Time Grant Funded position that supports the Carl D. Perkins Grant. Employment is not guaranteed and subject to continuance of the grant.

Position Summary Coordinates the College's Carl D. Perkins grant, providing support to eligible Career and Technical Education (CTE) special population students while administering grant activities, monitoring compliance, and supporting Perkins-funded initiatives. This position is limited to no more than 19 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify CTE students eligible for Perkins-funded support services and administer student financial assistance. Monitor student eligibility, progress, services, and outcomes; maintain accurate records and documentation for grant compliance and reporting. Coordinate, implement, and monitor Perkins grant activities, deliverables, and student support services. Collect, analyze, and report CTE student data, program outcomes, and grant performance measures. Collaborate with faculty, academic leadership, the Perkins Director, Business Office, and Financial Aid to support CTE special population students and Perkins initiatives. Develop and monitor the Perkins student assistance budget, track expenditures and allowable costs, and assist with fiscal reporting. Maintain grant records, inventory, requisitions, fiscal documentation, and other program-related administrative functions. Provide student support and assist with other Perkins and CTE-related activities as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field One (1) year of experience working directly with students One (1) year of experience working in a higher education setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual - English/Spanish
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and complete projects within established timelines Experience evaluating complex projects and working with detailed program information Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed Working knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and ability to use them responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with organizational guidelines
