Job Description

Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to maximize our efficiency in receiving, testing, refurbishing, and preparing gaming peripherals for resale. The focus is on ensuring we are delivering quality refurbished units to our end-user customers, accuracy and transparency to our customers, and maintaining consistent habits with following procedures, processes, and systems.
Specialization:
Knowledge of gaming peripherals and consumer electronic accessories including keyboards, mice, headsets, speakers, webcams, controllers, wireless dongles, and related devices. Experience with delicate handling, cosmetic grading, functionality testing, cleaning, and packaging procedures for resale and eCommerce distribution. Understanding of wired and wireless connectivity standards including USB, Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless receivers, and audio connections. Familiarity with diagnosing common peripheral issues such as connectivity failures, button/switch malfunctions, audio defects, charging issues, and RGB lighting functionality. Strong attention to detail when capturing asset information including make, model, serial number, specifications, and cosmetic condition within ERP and inventory management systems. Organization and accuracy in day-to-day inventory processing, serialization, order preparation, and warehouse operations. Basic to intermediate knowledge of PCs, gaming accessories, and peripheral compatibility is preferred. Experience with inventory systems, data entry, and quality control procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Test a wide variety of gaming peripherals including keyboards, mice, headsets, speakers, webcams, controllers, wireless dongles, and other electronic gaming accessories based on pre-set company standards and functionality requirements. Accurately capture asset information including make, model, serial number, connectivity type, cosmetic condition, and functionality within the ERP and inventory management systems. Sort and organize incoming inventory by product type, brand, condition, and testing status. Perform functionality testing on wired and wireless gaming peripherals to verify proper operation, connectivity, button response, audio quality, lighting features, and battery performance when applicable. Identify defective, incomplete, or non-functional units and escalate issues for further review or repair. Ensure all accessories, cables, adapters, and components are properly matched and included with each product. Perform data entry and maintain detailed records within the ERP and inventory management systems. Follow company procedures for handling, storage, testing, and processing electronic equipment. Presentation and Overall Look of the
Tech Station:
Avoiding clutter and keeping an organized testing station daily. Creating or enforcing rules that ensure your tech bench is always kept clean and organized. Inventory Clean and refurbish gaming equipment to standards suitable for resale and eCommerce distribution. Package completed products securely and professionally for storage, shipping, or customer fulfillment. Apply and verify serial numbers, asset tags, and inventory labels to maintain accurate inventory tracking and traceability. Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock organization. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while meeting productivity and quality expectations. Assist with preparing bulk orders and large-scale inventory processing projects as needed. Innovation and Adding Value Present feedback and ideas to the management team consistently on how to better improve the department.
Salary Continued:
90-day performance review, every 12 months thereafter
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Basic Word Processing Skills, Basic Note-taking and writing skills, prior experience as a hobbyist or professional experience 1 year or more in a related field or refurbishment company. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators): Check-in & Check-out through Text Daily, Quota measured based on daily input volume, established after the first 30 days in the role.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
