Long Beach, CA Pay:

$17.00-$19.00 per hour to start, based on experience We are looking for a reliable, organized, hands-on Cannabis Inventory & METRC Specialist to join our Long Beach distribution operation. This role works directly with physical inventory, METRC, basic Excel, product movements, sales requests, inventory counts, documentation, and day-to-day warehouse operations. We are looking for someone who is punctual, dependable, naturally organized, comfortable using computers, good with basic math, communicates well, and can stay accurate when things get busy. Some parts of the day can be fast-paced. Other periods may be slower, and we expect team members to stay productive without needing to be constantly directed. Responsibilities Use METRC for day-to-day inventory and package tracking Maintain accurate physical inventory counts Compare physical inventory against METRC and internal records Record METRC and physical counts in internal notes Locate and identify specific packs/products requested by the sales team Understand when inventory is added, sold, transferred, or moved and update the appropriate records Complete daily showroom pack movement/tracing documentation Perform inventory counts and basic reconciliations Enter and organize inventory information in Microsoft Excel Use basic Excel formulas and calculations to total inventory Assist with receiving incoming product Assist with preparing outgoing orders and transfers Maintain organized product locations and warehouse areas Keep paperwork and inventory documentation current Communicate discrepancies immediately and accurately Assist with general warehouse and operations duties as needed Stay productive during downtime with inventory audits, organization, documentation, and other operational tasks What We're Looking For METRC experience strongly preferred Cannabis inventory or distribution experience preferred Comfortable using computers Basic Microsoft Excel ability Comfortable with basic math and inventory calculations Strong organizational skills Strong communication Excellent attendance and punctuality Comfortable working on your feet and handling physical inventory Able to switch between computer work and warehouse work throughout the day Able to manage multiple small tasks without becoming overwhelmed Able to work independently once trained Willing to ask questions when unsure instead of guessing Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Looking for a stable, long-term position Comfortable with early starts and occasional longer workdays when operational needs require it Must report to work fit for duty and able to safely perform assigned responsibilities Starting pay: $17.00-$19.00/hour depending on relevant experience ( room for growth ) Compensation will be reviewed as the employee demonstrates reliability, inventory accuracy, METRC competency, organization, communication, and the ability to independently take ownership of responsibilities. There is room to grow for someone who proves themselves and becomes a dependable long-term part of the operation.
