Position Summary :

Monitors and maintains accurate inventory within warehouse and WMS system. Investigates problems, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated report.

Essential Functions:

Loading and unloading trucks and containers, stacking packages, and moving them to storage or delivery area. Perform bin verifications and adjust WMS system to reflect physical inventory on hand. Conduct weekly, monthly and annual cycle counts.

Reconciling:

Compare purchase orders with received products, and reconcile discrepancies Adjust stock counts as needed, and account for overages, shortages, damaged, or defective items. Look into any inventory issues that may arise Physically transport, organize, and maintain inventory in warehouse. Moving product/s into rack storage and assembly areas. Safe and Efficient Facility Team Member Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it. Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts. Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures. Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Marginal Functions:

Housekeeping such as sweeping and disposing of scrap foam/lumber or other miscellaneous items. Perform other related work as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read/write and comprehend basic inventory counting. Strong teamwork and communication skills to build a high performing team. Role model of TransPak culture and operating procedures. Demonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, continuous improvement behaviors. Basic computer skills needed to log in and out of jobs with employee identification number. Ability to learn new software. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
