Position Overview Ghafari Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team in the automotive repair industry. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet customer and shop demands, and supporting the organization and efficiency of the warehouse in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is dependable and highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to keep parts and materials flowing smoothly to support day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits and cycle counts Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock and materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders Label, scan, and stock parts and materials in proper bin and shelf locations Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient, safe material storage and handling Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment of stock Pull, stage, and distribute parts and materials to support technicians and other departments Assist with the preparation and execution of physical inventory counts Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and as authorized Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in inventory management or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Experience Experience in the automotive repair or parts industry Certification in inventory management or logistics (Preferred) Familiarity with ERP systems ADA / Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in a physically demanding environment Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and climb to access and store materials Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, scanning, and material handling
