Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Inventory Management Support for a Contract job with a client in Malabar, FL . The ideal candidate will have experience supporting inventory control, stockroom operations, receiving activities, and material management processes within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Rate Range:
$17/hour to $20/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Inventory Management Support Job Responsibilities Include:
Receive incoming materials and shipments while verifying quantities, part numbers, and supporting documentation against purchase orders, invoices, and receiving records. Inspect received materials for damage, shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns and promptly communicate any issues to management for resolution. Organize, store, and maintain stockroom inventory in accordance with company procedures to support inventory accuracy and efficient material retrieval. Pick, issue, and distribute materials to internal departments and external customers while ensuring proper inventory transactions and documentation are completed. Support inventory control activities by conducting material counts, verifying inventory balances, assisting with audits, and identifying inventory discrepancies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting operational priorities and assisting in other functional areas as required by business needs.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. One to three years of experience working in inventory management, stockroom operations, warehouse functions, receiving, material handling, or related support roles. Experience verifying shipments, maintaining inventory records, organizing stockroom materials, and supporting inventory control processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow work instructions, company procedures, and inventory management guidelines accurately. Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other basic computer applications used within business environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments. Familiarity with inventory management systems, material tracking tools, ERP systems, or stockroom control processes. Experience supporting cycle counts, physical inventory audits, inventory reconciliations, or material movement activities. Knowledge of receiving procedures, shipping documentation, inventory accuracy requirements, and material handling best practices. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and support multiple operational areas based on business needs. This position requires the use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details:
