Description We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support daily warehouse and client service operations in Honolulu, Hawaii. This contract position with potential for a permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping inventory organized, assisting visitors, and helping maintain a safe, efficient distribution environment. The role combines hands-on warehouse duties with administrative support, requiring strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming deliveries, inspect items, and place materials in appropriate storage areas to keep warehouse inventory accurate and accessible.
Prepare and pull requested items for distribution, ensuring orders are completed correctly and efficiently.
Organize donated products on shelves, racks, and bins to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
Coordinate client visits by scheduling appointments, handling check-ins and check-outs, and assisting with urgent walk-in needs.
Support clients in locating and collecting needed items while providing courteous and helpful service.
Maintain inventory documentation by recording item movement, updating logs, and tracking warehouse activity.
Assist with donation pickup activities alongside the warehouse driver when additional support is needed.
Provide general operational and administrative assistance to warehouse office staff and leadership as requested. Requirements
Previous experience with inventory tracking, stock handling, or warehouse support work.
Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventory counts.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with a wide range of individuals.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for basic documentation, scheduling, and communication tasks.
Well-organized work style with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and follow-through.
Ability to work collaboratively in a community-focused, team-oriented environment.
Capability to perform routine warehouse tasks and move throughout the work area safely during the workday.
