This is a Day Shift, Monday through Friday position Position Summary The Inventory Control Clerk maintains accurate inventory of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, consumables, and tooling for a thermoplastic composites plant. This role owns kitting, cycle counts, inventory room control, and audit preparation, ensuring full traceability Core Responsibilities Material Handling & ERP Transactions Kitting operations — Build, verify, and stage production kits for press, layup, machining, and assembly cells; ensure correct quantities, traceability, and FIFO usage. Inventory room control — Maintain organization, labeling, bin accuracy, and environmental controls for composite materials and consumables. ERP transactions — Issue materials to work orders, receive finished goods, transfer WIP, and complete adjustments with proper approvals. Traceability control — Track heat lots, batches, serials, and expiration dates for all composite materials. Material staging — Pull and deliver materials to production cells based on schedule and kanban triggers. Cycle Counts & Audit Readiness Cycle count execution — Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts; reconcile variances; document root causes; escalate systemic issues. Inventory accuracy — Maintain 98-100% accuracy for all controlled materials, including cold‑storage composites. Year‑end audit support — Prepare count sheets, reconcile discrepancies, support auditors, and ensure documentation meets AS9100 and finance requirements. Physical inventory — Assist with annual physical inventory, including tagging, counting, and reconciliation. Production Support Work order verification — Confirm material availability, routing accuracy, and correct quantities before release. Material flow optimization — Replenish point‑of‑use locations and monitor low‑stock triggers. FOD control — Maintain clean, organized storage areas aligned with aerospace standards. Tooling inventory — Track molds, fixtures, and calibrated tools as required. Compliance & Documentation AS9100 documentation — Maintain complete, audit‑ready records for material movement, nonconformance, and adjustments. Shelf‑life management — Monitor expiration dates for thermoplastic materials, adhesives, and consumables; rotate stock using

FIFO/FEFO. ERP

data integrity — Ensure all transactions are timely, accurate, and compliant with audit requirements. Required Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy count to track small parts with quantities in the thousands. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production environment. Effective communication with production, purchasing, and quality. Familiarity with composite materials, cold storage, and traceability requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, composites, or advanced manufacturing. Knowledge of AS9100, ITAR/EAR, and material traceability. Experience with an ERP systems Forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Physical Requirements Lift/move up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift. Operate pallet jacks, carts, and material handling equipment.
