Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Role Overview BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Stockroom Specialist to support our client's maintenance and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate stockroom inventory, receiving and issuing materials, coordinating with vendors, processing repairable items, and ensuring critical maintenance parts are available when needed.

This is a computer-intensive position, with approximately 80% of the work involving desktop or network applications, including the Maximo inventory management system . The ideal candidate will combine strong inventory control skills with excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate stockroom inventory and records using Maximo and other computer applications. Communicate with vendors daily to place orders, expedite critical purchases, and follow up on outstanding stock orders. Receive incoming materials, verify receiver documentation for accuracy, and store stock in designated locations. Issue inventory and repair parts to support maintenance activities, preventive maintenance, shutdowns, and other operational needs. Perform daily cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Correct inventory information and maintain accurate stockroom data within Maximo. Investigate receiving questions, order discrepancies, and inventory issues. Partner with Engineering and Maintenance teams to establish new inventory items. Process repairable items and maintain a separate inventory area for repair parts. Obtain vendor return authorization (RA) numbers and complete required paperwork, packaging, labeling, and shipping activities. Assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies and provide inventory-related financial information to plant personnel as needed. Quickly locate required stock items, including situations where limited item information is available. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom. Follow applicable FDA/GMP, USDA, OSHA, client policies, procedures, and guidelines. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and operational goals. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Strong computer skills and ability to work extensively with desktop and network-based applications. Experience with Maximo or a comparable computerized inventory management system is highly desirable. Experience with inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, parts, materials, or related operations. Strong data-entry skills and ability to maintain accurate electronic inventory records. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate receiving, ordering, and inventory discrepancies. Ability to prioritize and perform varied responsibilities while managing frequent interruptions. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at multiple organizational levels. Ability to interpret inventory positions and quickly locate required stock items. Experience communicating with vendors, expediting orders, or coordinating material purchases is preferred. Ability to work effectively with Maintenance, Engineering, Accounts Payable, vendors, and other cross-functional partners. About
