Job Description

Inventory Agent @ The Vault — Webster, MA Our Mission "To provide the cannabis consumer, from beginner to expert, with extensive product offerings, vast product knowledge, and best‑in‑class service for a smooth, unparalleled experience." About the Role We're looking for an Inventory Agent to take the lead on keeping our sales floor fully stocked and our vault running like clockwork.
Your top priority:
making sure the floor never runs low, with low and out-of-stock items always handled first. You'll receive and prep deliveries, keep the vault organized, run counts and replenishment checks, and help the team catch issues before they become problems. If you thrive on accuracy, organization, and getting product where it needs to be, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Keep the sales floor fully replenished throughout the day, prioritizing low and out-of-stock items. Sticker and prep product so it's ready to move to the floor the moment it's needed. Keep the vault organized so back stock is always easy to find and access. Receive, verify, sticker, and put away deliveries accurately and on time. Complete daily replenishment checks and sign-offs for your assigned categories. Help assign and follow up on daily inventory, stickering, and replenishment tasks. Complete inventory counts and flag or resolve discrepancies. Track product expiration dates and give the buyer early notice on anything approaching expiration. Speak up fast when something is holding the product back from processing or the sales floor. Support broader inventory operations — receiving/compliance systems (METRC, Dutchie, QuickBooks), audits and reconciliations, FIFO practices, vendor returns, and keeping the vault clean, secure, and climate-controlled. What We're Looking For Experience in inventory operations, preferably within the cannabis industry or another highly regulated environment. Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, including FIFO, LIFO, and batch tracking. Familiarity with cannabis compliance regulations, such as seed-to-sale tracking and state-specific requirements. Proficiency in Dutchie, METRC, MS Excel, and Google Sheets. Extreme attention to detail and a genuinely organized, get-it-done mindset. Strong communication skills and the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment. Able to meet the state cannabis agency's age and background check requirements, and available for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Able to move about the store and lift/transport products and totes up to 50 lbs. Ready to join us? Email your résumé to along with a short note on your availability and why you'd be a great fit for the team. Please include your full name and the position title in the body of your email, and set the subject line to the name of the winner of the 2001 Pipe Masters surf contest in Hawaii. We review applications on a rolling basis, so we recommend applying as soon as possible — candidates we'd like to move forward with will typically hear back within one to two weeks to schedule a conversation.
