Job Description

Receiving Specialist Position:
Contract (90 Day Right To Hire).
Location:
Wentzville, MO.
Salary:
$21.00 - $23.00 Hour (depending on experience).
Hours:
8 to 5 (M-F).
Remote:
On-site.
Status:
Must be a US Citizen.

Summary:
Our client is seeking a Receiving Specialists that would be responsible for proper identification, inspection, safe handling, and storage of incoming inventory and warehouse materials. They are responsible for receiving incoming material in a timely manner, keeping accurate records of incoming receipts, and following incoming inspection quality requirements. Receiving Specialists also work with material handlers to execute inventory movements, consolidation, cycle counts, and replenishment to meet production schedule demands.
Qualifications:
1-2 years inventory control and/or receiving experience. 1-3 Forklift operator certified. Experience with ERP software preferred (e.g. Epicor, SAP, or similar). Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. High organizational skills, attention to detail and self-motivation. Safety- and quality- centered mindset and work ethic. Understanding of the value and impact of inventory accuracy on the rest of the organization.
Equipment:
Receiving Specialists will be trained and qualified to operate the following equipment w/ appropriate
PPE:
Overhead crane. Dock leveler. Sit down forklift. Stand up order picker. Narrow aisle turret truck.
Responsibilities:
Inbound small pack and container material incoming inspection and receipts. Material put away and storage, ensuring clear marking and identification. Proactive management of inventory bins with respect to maximum on hand quantities. Perform cycle count programs as needed. Safe inventory handling and storage procedures. Inventory movements such as consolidation or primary bin replenishment.
Objectives:
99.5% inventory accuracy, identification, and preservation. Maximize speed and efficiency of all material handling processes (receiving, consolidation and transfers, replenishment, picking, etc.). #GRP2-$4000
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
