As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist at Independence Harley-Davidson, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of our merchandise. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our dealership operations. Summary Description Handle all duties relative to merchandise (General Merchandise) receipt and shipment. Ship and receive departmental and/or dealership inventory. Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records. Perform related duties as necessary. Major Duties and Responsibilities Receiving Inventory/Shipping Receive inventory accurately. Making sure invoices balance & correct items are in inventory. Add part numbers. Creating new PO's for orders. Remove orders from order log. Keep up with backorders. Security tags & censoring. Accurate labeling. Update pricebooks Making sure that company gets best deals for shipping. Assign all part numbers with bin locations. Inventory Accuracy Processes Warranties Inventory Accuracy Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Coordinate & manage daily/weekly physical cycle counts. Correct negative inventory and trouble shoot to solve issues. Processing Warranties Processing warranties according to individual vendor guidelines. Communicating with vendors. Logging all warranties by H-D warranty process. Other Duties as assigned Qualifications & Job Requirements Excel proficient Math Skills Experience with computers necessary. Ability to learn new software and systems must be demonstrated 2 years inventory POS system Above average data entry skills Physical Demands Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift 20-30Ib. of material.
