Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Cycle Counter and become a vital part of our Purchasing Department. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing systematic, ongoing counts of inventory. This role ensures inventory accuracy by conducting scheduled and unscheduled counts, identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and supporting corrective actions. 1.0 DUTIES /

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of finished goods, raw materials and WIP products according to established ABCD criteria and schedules.
• Accurately document cycle count findings and variances in IQMS inventory management systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records and logs.
• Investigate and ensure that inventory discrepancies between physical counts and IQMS are reconciled.
• Report significant inventory discrepancies to supervisors or inventory control management promptly.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Shipping, and Operations to identify root causes of variances.
• Report on root causes and propose system and procedural improvements to rectify causes of inventory inaccuracy.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
• Perform all related duties as assigned.

3.0 EDUCATION /

EXPERIENCE :

High School Diploma, or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse experience dealing with inventory.
• 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Versed in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Teams.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience using IQMS.
• Forklift and/or reach truck certification.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory management principles.
• Experience in a lean or continuous improvement environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will occasionally work near moving parts. The associate may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Due to the open environment of the building, must be able to work in various temperatures. Involves moderate or occasional presence of unfavorable conditions, i.e., cold, dust, heat, noise, odor, chemicals, etc. Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, heat protective sleeves, and safety shoes may be required in the area that you are working in based on our safety PPE standards.
