Manages and tracks tools and equipment. Receives, organizes, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, tooling, others materials, and equipment used in production and maintenance departments. Issues and/or delivers tools and equipment to workers as needed. Maintains records of inventory of and accurately tracks tools and equipment issued and returned. Completes daily cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy. Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment. Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory Updates inventory levels utilizing current systems; works with Purchasing, the Materials Manager, and the Maintenance Manager to maintain those levels. Maintains inventory of repair items and coordinates shipment to vendor Marks and identifies tools and equipment Maintains perishable tool stores/vending machines in automatics area. Other duties as assigned. Frequent exposure to manufacturing environment. Standing and walking up to 50% of work time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Minimum of high school diploma; 1+ year of inventory control preferred. Mechanically educated. Strong computer skills. Strong organizational skills
