Hours of Job FT- Day Shift Some weekends and holidays Duties and Key Responsibilities The daily receipt of linen inventories, stocking, and dispensing. Assists with annual textile inventory. Perform linen distribution process, as well as monitor quality of the linen being delivered to the designated linen closets. Responsible for removing damaged linen from inventory. Processes linen orders as appropriate. Accurately completes paperwork to eliminate errors in receiving and distribution. Assists in the development of schedules. Maintains established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assessment, guest relations, infection control and a safe work environment. Maintains confidentiality of patient and departmental information. Maintains professional standards by participating in in-services, committees, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods. Periods of repetitive pulling and tugging of product to sort/distribute. Ability to repeatedly lift weights of 50# overhead to a height of 60". Frequent twisting and bending of the body. Education/Certifications High school graduate or equivalent. Experience No previous experience required.
