In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse distribution activities, and assisting with procurement and stock management processes. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations, optimize inventory levels, and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in logistics, data analysis, and warehouse management within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and data collection to ensure accuracy across warehouse management systems. Support warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling. Collaborate with department crew leaders on sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration to optimize pricing and supply chain performance. Participate in root cause analysis to resolve inventory discrepancies or stock shortages, contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives. Assist with demand planning, stock replenishment, and logistics coordination to support efficient materials management and production planning. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in supply chain management or logistics is a plus. Basic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data trends and generate actionable insights. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process documentation. Ability to perform physical tasks including materials handling; heavy lifting may occasionally be required. Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams including purchasing, merchandising, and logistics.
