You bring precision, analytical thinking, and integrity to every engagement. You lead client teams through physical inventory counts, evaluate controls, and identify opportunities to improve processes. Your work ensures clients can make confident, data-driven decisions — and that Monarch continues to be a trusted partner in inventory excellence. Monarch Inventory Services is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Healthcare Inventory Auditors to perform physical inventories in hospital pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, outpatient pharmacies, supply rooms, warehouses, and other healthcare environments. This position requires extensive travel and a flexible schedule. Assignments may occur during evenings, early morning, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays based on customer needs. Healthcare Inventory Auditors use Monarch's inventory equipment to accurately count and record pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and related inventory. Core Responsibilities Accurately count pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and other healthcare inventory. Use Monarch's handheld inventory equipment and finger scanner. Follow established counting procedures and customer-specific instructions. Count products by package, unit, tablet, capsule, milliliter, gram, or other assigned unit of measure. Verify product descriptions, package sizes, quantities, and storage locations. Identify and report discrepancies or questionable items to the Inventory Supervisor. Maintain accuracy, productivity, and professionalism throughout each assignment. Follow all customer safety, security, confidentiality, and infection-control requirements. Work cooperatively with supervisors, other auditors, and customer personnel. Protect confidential customer and inventory information.
Measurables Audit Accuracy:
Maintain 99%+ accuracy rate across completed audits.
Client Satisfaction:
Achieve an average post-audit satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 or higher.
Team Leadership:
Support and train new auditors during field engagements, contributing to a positive team culture. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in confined storage areas. Ability to climb approved step stools or ladders when required. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to read small product labels, identification numbers, and package information. Ability to perform repetitive counting and scanning tasks. Preferred Qualifications Previous inventory, auditing, pharmacy experience. Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, NDC numbers, medical supplies, or units of measure. Experience using handheld scanners or inventory equipment. Previous business travel experience.
