Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Mason Companies Cycle Counter is responsible for order correction, performing cycle counting duties, and monitoring warehouse inventory to ensure that all materials are accurately verified and are reflected on reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports, and using fulfillment software systems for inventory control. The Cycle Counter will also assist the fulfillment team members and Customer Service teams in locating materials, optimizing distribution operations, and in locating materials in a lost or incorrect inventory status.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management & Order repair Perform routine cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records to ensure inventory records accurately reflect on-hand quantities within both fulfillment centers and the retail store. Assist in researching inventory discrepancies by determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors. Responsible for answering Customer Service, Fulfillment, and Sourcing inquiries regarding inventory discrepancies and submitting accurate inventory and bin location reports in a timely manner. Certification to driver order picker as well as other warehouse equipment to perform the cycle counting role as defined. Reporting and Data Management. Utilize data and fulfillment metrics to report on data trends, training effectiveness, and data validation to identify bottlenecks and make recommendations for processes improvements. Leverage Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms to input accurate count data, audit system records, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support internal and external audits as needed, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and distribution center processes. Cross-Functional Communication and Continuous Improvement Serve as the liaison between quality assurance, sourcing, operations, and suppliers to drive timely resolution of quality issues. Collaborate with internal teams and fulfillment managers and supervisors to identify process improvement opportunities, focusing on efficiency and streamlining operations. Actively participate in departmental meetings, providing insights into common issues, root causes, and continuous improvement opportunities. Contribute to the development of quality standards and processes, ensuring alignment with departmental standards, industry regulations, and company objectives. Maintain training records, contribute to acknowledgement of training tracking including certification and recertification tracking, for all distribution center employees. Store Inventory Operations & Preparation Accurately select, pick, and prepare requested inventory batches from fulfillment locations to support retail store transfers or replenishment needs. Inspect, unpack, sort, and process bulk warehouse products to transform them into a saleable state for the store, ensuring all items are clean, correctly tagged, properly packaged, and staged according to retail merchandising standards. Oversee the organization of store-destined goods, maintain precise physical-to-system counts of staged areas, and resolve any supply chain variances for incoming or outgoing Warehouse Associate products.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in business administration or Business analytics or equivalent experience At least 1 year of related inventory and/or material handling experience in fulfillment environment At least 1 year of experience using an ERP (Oracle EBS) system to find, troubleshoot, and maintain inventory accuracy Proven experience operating RF scanners and navigating digitgal warehouse management platforms for real-time inventory adjustments Mature PC skills with the ability to navigate from one screen to another. Microsoft Office - Word and Excel knowledge Ability to work accurately and efficiently in the counting, researching and root cause analysis of Mason inventories.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires continuous standing and frequent walking. Wearing the fall arrest harness if using Stock picker to conduct audits. Requires frequent twisting, stooping/bending at the waist and squatting. Requires normal hearing and sight on a continuous basis. Ability to manipulate objects on a continuous basis with one and/or both hands. Ability to frequently push and pull up to 15 pounds, with occasional heavy pushing and pulling of fully loaded carts and palletized items up to 50 pounds.
