This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, properly receiving products, completing cycle counts, and ensuring all inventory processes follow company policies and California cannabis regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, highly attentive to detail, comfortable working with inventory systems, and understands the importance of accuracy and compliance in a regulated cannabis environment. What You'll Do Receive and verify incoming cannabis products, merchandise, and vendor deliveries. Compare deliveries against invoices, manifests, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Verify product quantities, SKUs, package information, labeling, and tracking information. Accurately enter and maintain inventory in the POS and applicable tracking systems. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and investigate discrepancies. Review and finalize cycle counts in a timely manner. Maintain organized and accurate backstock and inventory storage areas. Properly process transfers, returns, samples, damages, recalls, and other inventory movements. Ensure staff samples, trade samples, and non-saleable products are properly identified, recorded, and stored. Identify damaged, mislabeled, duplicated, recalled, or potentially non-compliant products. Immediately escalate inventory or compliance concerns to Management and/or the Compliance Team. Assist with internal inventory audits and regulatory inspections. Help identify and prevent inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, and loss. Work closely with Management, Compliance, Purchasing, vendors, and dispensary staff. Follow all company SOPs, security procedures, and California cannabis regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready inventory area. What We're Looking For Previous inventory, receiving, warehouse, retail, or cannabis industry experience preferred. Dispensary inventory experience is a plus. Knowledge of Metrc and cannabis POS systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to accurately count, track, and reconcile inventory. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through until they are resolved. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Reliable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated retail environment. Must be 21 years of age or older and meet applicable California cannabis employment requirements. What Success Looks Like In this role, success means keeping our inventory accurate, organized, compliant, and audit-ready . You will be expected to take ownership of your work, complete cycle counts and receiving tasks on time, promptly communicate discrepancies or compliance concerns, and consistently follow established inventory procedures. Pay:
$23/hour
Schedule:
Full-Time | Schedule Monday-Friday (9am-5:30pm) Including Holidays.
