Responsibilities:
Inventory Ensure accurate tracking, storage, and handling of cannabis and related products in compliance with industry regulations. Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and communicate the need for reorders or restocking. Support receiving processes, including product labeling, verification, and shelving. Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and organized. Implement and follow all inventory control procedures in alignment with company policies. Collaborate with purchasing and management to support efficient ordering and restocking. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory-related reporting. Act as a resource to team members regarding inventory procedures and best practices. Maintain compliance with all cannabis-related regulations and company guidelines. Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and regulations affecting inventory and retail operations. Customer Service:
Greet guests as they arrive and depart and provide a welcoming customer experience. Educate guests on cannabis products, strains, methods of consumption, and product options based on their needs, preferences, and budget. Maintain knowledgeable and current understanding of the store's product catalog and cannabis industry trends. Answer guest questions and provide appropriate product information. Educate guests on the responsible and safe use of the cannabis products. Process guest purchases accurately using the POS system and follow proper cash-handling procedures. Verify guests meet applicable age requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor. Assist with keeping products stocked and available for guests. Communicate customer, product, or operational issues to management. Provide support to the Budtender team and other store operations as needed. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of dispensary, cannabis, retail, or inventory experience preferred. Previous experience in inventory management, retail operations, customer service, or a similar role. Cannabis industry or Budtending experience preferred. Must meet the legal age requirements to work in the cannabis industry. Must pass LiveScan or other city-mandated background check. Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and methods of consumption. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately track inventory and identify discrepancies. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Proficiency with retail technology and POS systems. Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, methods of consumption, and applicable laws and regulations. Strong inventory management and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze inventory data and identify trends or discrepancies.
