Inventory Coordinator Accurate Staffing is currently hiring an Inventory Coordinator for a manufacturing client in Conover, NC. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing computer work with warehouse and material-handling responsibilities. Shift Monday-Friday 8am-5pm What You'll Do Manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement throughout the facility. Receive and inspect incoming shipments and verify materials against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders. Document damaged or discrepant shipments and communicate issues as needed. Label incoming materials and properly place inventory in designated storage locations. Safely operate a forklift to stock and move materials. Prepare packing lists, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation. Coordinate freight shipments and schedule carrier pickups. Perform daily cycle counts, inventory reporting, and inventory adjustments. Work with Purchasing and Accounting to resolve inventory and receiving discrepancies. Prepare products for shipment according to production schedules, including building skids and crates. Verify orders are properly packaged, labeled, and documented before shipment. Enter and maintain accurate inventory and shipping information in QuickBooks and other company systems. Pick up and deliver parts from local suppliers as needed. Kit work orders and properly label and stage materials for production. Maintain clean and organized inventory, shelving, warehouse, and shipping areas. Monitor shipping supply inventory and notify Purchasing when supplies need to be replenished. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred. Strong computer skills and experience with data entry. Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Forklift experience preferred; willingness to become certified if needed. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and material handling required. Comfortable working in both warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
